Garda Vetting Procedures
Raheny GAA operates under a one club system. All sections of the club (Mens & Boys Football and Hurling, Ladies Gaelic Football and Camogie) are governed by the GAA rules for Garda Vetting. We have linked the GAA Garda Vetting Process below. If mentors complete the GAA Garda Vetting Process below, they are covered to mentor / coach for all sections. If mentors are Garda vetted through LGFA or Camogie, they are only covered for those organisations. So our recommendation is that all mentors follow the process below.
Garda Vetting is Mandatory for all coaches, managers, referees and volunteers working with under-18s. Garda vetting must be through the GAA’s Foireann system. Vetting is valid for three years and must be renew after that.
It is advised that you complete this process on a desktop computer. Several emails will be received so please check your inbox. Check your Junk mail to ensure they don't get caught there.
There have been recent changes to the Garda Vetting Procedures.
Click the link button to go to Foireann site to start the vetting procedure. All persons registered with Raheny GAA should have a Foireann account already, so please use this rather than creating a new account. If you don't know your credentials, please use the forgot username/password link(s)
