Raheny GAA – Events Booking Terms & Conditions

Please Read Before Submitting Your Booking

Before submitting your booking form, please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully.
By completing and submitting a booking form, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions in full.

1. Insurance Requirements

All individuals, groups, or organisations wishing to use Raheny GAA facilities must have the following insurance policies in place before approval can be granted.
Evidence of each policy must be submitted with your application.

Minimum Insurance Cover Required:

  • Public Liability Insurance – minimum limit of €6.5 million
  • Products Liability Insurance – minimum limit of €6.5 million
  • Employers Liability Insurance – minimum limit of €13 million
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance (if applicable) – minimum limit of €2.6 million

2. Specific Indemnity

A specific indemnity must be noted on your insurance policy in favour of Raheny GAA Club and the GAA.
The following wording should be provided to your insurer or broker:

 “The above policy includes indemnity to principal which may be any principal, employer or other party with whom the insured has entered into a contract for the purposes of delivering services in the course of the business, but only in respect of indemnity that would normally have been given to the insured in respect of such services had they been performing the work themselves.”

This indemnity must specifically name:
C.L.G. Ráth Éanna / Raheny GAA, 2 All Saints Drive, Raheny, Co. Dublin, D05 WF44
and
Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), Croke Park, Jones’s Road, Dublin 3, D03 P6K7
And 
Must cover Public Liability up to a limit of €6,500,000, subject to the terms and conditions of your insurance policy.

3. Responsibility of Hirers

By submitting a booking form, you agree to the following:

  • You are fully responsible for all persons attending Raheny GAA Club and/or participating in activities under your control.

  • You (or a representative) must be present for the entire duration of your booking.

  • Use of any GAA-owned equipment is only permitted with prior approval from Raheny GAA Club.

  • You agree to comply with all Raheny GAA rules, statutory legislation, and public health and safety requirements.

4. Venue Care & Decoration

To maintain the quality of Raheny GAA facilities, all hirers are required to take care when decorating or setting up the venue.

  • No Sellotape, Blu Tack, nails, tacks, pins, staples, or adhesives of any kind may be used on the walls, doors, windows, or furniture.
  • Decorations must be freestanding or attached using non-damaging alternatives (e.g. removable hooks approved by the club).
  • All decorations and equipment must be removed immediately after the event.
  • Any marks, damage, or residue left on walls or surfaces will result in additional cleaning or repair charges.


5. Additional Hirer Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

A. Maintaining a full list of all attendees and their contact information.
B. Covering the cost of any damages or breakages that occur in connection with your use of Raheny GAA facilities.
C. Reporting any incidents or near misses immediately to the designated Raheny GAA contact.

Complete the relevant Accident Report Form and provide witness details where required.

6. Application Deadline

All event booking applications must be received at least 14 working days prior to the date of use for approval.
