"I have however worn the Raheny jersey on the GAA for mothers and others team, but unfortunately, I just missed the introduction of Camogie into Raheny," Ide says,

"but I have enviously watched my sister Eadaoin's fantastic career with Club and county and I think we all want as many girls as possible to have these opportunities." 

Ide's family are heavily involved in the Club as her brother Enda is also a Club stalwart and current treasurer, and is married to Eamonn (Ducky). Ide's girls have all played football and Camogie in the Club, and Sinead and Meabh continue to wear the maroon and white of the parish.
