Raheny - 4, Lucan Sarsfields - 1

It was a lovely sunny morning, with a 10.30am start and the temperature about 18C.
Lucan got off to a good start with a striking goal after 5 minutes. The Raheny 
girls took the game to Lucan and scored 2 of their own before half time. A great
side line effort by Ciara Dodd had the sliotar in the net. Then a great individual
effort by Ella O'Driscoll on the stroke of half time gave Raheny the edge. 
Great half performances from Caragh, Ciara Storey, Nicole & Katie in defence and Abbey 
up front. 

The second half saw great work rate by Sinead Stack, who facilitated or at least got
the final touch on goal number 3. And not long after that Sinead got goal number 4 with 
some quick reaction and good support from her team mates. There were great doubling 
skills on offer from Caragh and Ciara Dodd. A super performance from Ella in the 
middle impressed sideline viewers, showing great tackling and determination. 
Ciara Storey's puck outs were excellent.Aoife Baldwin is improving in every game and hit

some solid groud strikes Kate Bissett and Aifric O'Connor were busy up front.

Outstanding performances from Rosin McDonagh, Ashling Horan , Ciara Morgan and Katelyn Close gave Raheny 

draw last Sunday. Aoife Lawlor and Isobell McConnell sent in some fine shots to the goal. Moly G, Ella and

Rachael were solid and showed good ground striking skill. It was great to see Ciara Gallagher lifting and striking the ball 

this will hopfully give others the confidence to start these skills in match situations.
