U11 Mid-term Report

The under 11 league has reached its midway point after a match with Faughs which resembled the Battle of Midway with the Raheny Girls sustaining heavy casualties in the ambush in Kimmage. We lost the game 2-0 and along the way we lost Saoirse White, Olivia Gleeson and Andrea Elebert to game ending injuries. It meant we reached the half way point with a record of 3 wins and 2 loses one game behind the leaders Faughs but still in a good position to make a realistic challenge for honours. To achieve this we must go 4 and 1 over the 2nd half of the season so we will see what the future holds. With the continued improvement of our back line and Sarah Ryan in goal hopefully our forwards will rediscover their scoring touch over the coming weeks and set up a grande-finale with Faughs.
